Pride Winnipeg is a yearly celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. It's iconic pride parade happens in the middle of downtown Winnipeg, featuring the beauty of it's people.
Every year, Pride introduces a new logo and concept. From Lexi’s personal experience, Pride is a way to find a new home, family, friends, and love. This inspired her concept of proudly expressing what you’ve found within the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Different iterations of the design are created to reflect what Pride means to each individual person.
The logo is simple, featuring a unique flag effect on the word “PRIDE” that represents overcoming obstacles and the freedom to express who you are as an individual. A heart element is incorporated to symbolize the love within the community, not only for one another, but also for the many communities it reaches and supports.
MEMETIC, a yearly electronic music and digital arts festival that started in 2010. MEMETIC focuses on the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music, and audio-visual art.
